I was shopping around town a few months ago for a new Ford. My old truck had just about wore out from all of the years of hard driving through downtown traffic to work. After replacing a motor mount, transmission and a host of other small items, I was ready to get that old clunker gone!

I stopped into one of the two local ford dealers here in town (won’t give them free advertising) and priced out a few trucks.

I was ok with the prices, but the dealer tried to get me on a used auto extended warranty. Boy was that something else. I couldn’t believe that they wanted thousands for just a two year warranty. Fortunately, I was able to get one by buying it direct from an online company that sells warranties.
