Business operations today cannot afford not to constantly make effort toward improving workflow and showing additional productivity.  Over time the processes will tend to become stale and stagnate.  An alert business person cannot let this happen.  The company is their life and livelihood even more than the employees and there is constant need to show improvement with competition a constant consideration.

While working toward showing improvements within the business and its procedures, the process of design and accountability will give reason for use of business mapping.  There will also be avenues by which to display the various routes and what worked best in previously endeavors, and including which may have proven to be a side step that did not work out in the long run.
