When a person buys Car Insurance the assumption is that your car is insured. What they don’t tell you is that nothing in your car is insured unless you can totally prove it was there. Let’s say you bought an ipod hook-up for your car, and you left it in there overnight. If someone breaks in and steals your hook-up, you’re SOL. What about an aftermarket stereo and sub? Nope! Unless you declare these things with photos to your insurance company, chances are they’re not covered. Mine weren’t! Remember that if you declare them then your insurance will probably go up. Make sure you ask the question, and if there’s a difference then at least you get to make an informed choice.
