There are essentially two types of side Airbags commonly used today, the side torso airbag and the side curtain airbag. Side-impact airbags or side torso airbags are a category of airbag usually located in the seat, and inflate between the seat occupant and the door. These airbags are designed to reduce the risk of injury to the pelvic and lower abdomen regions. Some vehicles are now being equipped with a different types of designs, to help reduce injury and ejection from the vehicle in rollover crashes. The Swedish company Autoliv AB, was granted a patent on side airbags, and they were first offered as an option in 1994 on the 1995 model year Volvo 850, and as standard equipment on all Volvo cars made after 1995.

When we moved to the coast we did not realize what a difference it would make in the way we conducted our lives.  One of the first things we noticed was that the luster in our car’s finish started to fade.  When we lived in the city we had always parked it in a building but now it was parked under a shelter that did not give it total protection from the sun.  It did not take us long to realize that we were going to need additional auto protection.  The paint was just not going to last with the abuse it was getting from the sun.

In the battle of the superminis it has generally been thought that in recent years there have been only two contenders; the Ford Fiesta and the Vauxhall Corsa. From the pack behind these two trailblazers has emerged a challenger to the shared throne of the small hatchback; the brand new Honda Jazz.

The Honda Jazz has been around for a while now, but has really started to pick up sales speed thanks largely to it’s superior reliability, performance and sporty good looks. In fact, I don’t think it would be any word of a lie to say that the Honda Jazz is the best looking supermini available.

Ford are a great brand, one of the few brands in the world that could be described a truly iconic. The question is though does the fact that there are so many Fords and everyone seems to have one make them uncool? In my opinion it does not as there are so many different kinds of Ford so you can make a statement about yourself without having to go outside the Ford brand. It may also be a feasible argument that because everyone has one it makes Fords cars fashionable, that’s how fashion works right? The more people who have it the cooler it is? Maybe I am just trying to justify driving my Ford Focus.

Right now, there are lots of sites out on the Internet promoting various book guides and other learning tools that teach people how to convert their car to run on water.  This is now very much possible and easy to do and anyone can learn how to do it without anybody’s or anything’s help but a book guide and according to a Gas 4 Free review, these book guides are now available on the Net and anyone can download it immediately and start learning how to mix water and gasoline to make their car running thus, saving money on gas and spending more for the needs of their families.  You should try to check this one out, that is, if you are very serious in saving money on gasoline.

It is of no interest to me if you choose to join Greenpeace and protest against the development of environmentally suspicious industry. It is also of no interest to me if you choose to use public transport as you are afraid that driving a car will prove too harmful for the environment.

All I am interested in is being a free citizen and being able to make my own choices without being bullied or harangued into conforming to a Governmental agenda which I don’t believe in. I will continue to drive my Vauxhall Zafira without feeling guilt, as it is my choice.

I have been looking at the progress of the Aptera against the Xr3 Trike and I have to say that although I obviously haven’t driven either of them the Xr3 looks as though it is going to beat the Aptera hands down. The Aptera is more efficient in the aerodynamics area but other than that, the Xr3 is a much better model. I think that the public are going to need some persuading to change from a regular gasoline car to one of these motors. The first thing that a potential buyer is going to have to do is to like the look of the car, and that is Apteras first big problem . It is ugly, and that’s to the advantage of the Xr3.

I really miss my old mechanic and I am beginning to wonder if I will every find one that I trust as much as I trusted him.  I had been taking my car the same shop for repairs and maintenance for over fifteen years, but since I have moved to Indianapolis I have to find a new shop.  I really miss my family and my friends, but I love my job.  I like what I do, but I love my paycheck.  It is nice to be able to afford a few extras once in a while.  If I could just find an automotive repair Indianapolis I would be doing much better.

Is it me or does the Dodge Avenger look like a cross between Knight Rider’s Car and something out of a comic book. It looks like every guy who grew up in the 1980’s dream car. With this in mind I visited Cheap Chrysler Jeep to check one out. What I didn’t realise is how many great offers were available on the Dodge Avenger, I could actually easily afford one. After a test drive I knew that the Dodge Avenger was the perfect car for me.

I’m so happy I visited Cheap Chrysler Jeep, sadly though my car doesn’t talk to me like Kit did!

I have been looking to buy a brand new Ford Focus for quite a long time now, but haven’t been able to find a deal that I would like to invest in. I eventually picked out a beautiful Ford Focus model that was going to be perfect for me and my family and it was at a bargain price as well. I drove home very happy indeed.
