My home is my castle.  In my case it is more like my log castle because my husband and I decided to build a log cabin home when we retired.  There is very little concrete used in the construction of our home as it is mostly real wood.  I love the rustic look of wood and we added the extra elegance of brown maple hardwood flooring.  We live on a lake, so the fishing is great and we are really enjoying our retirement.  One of my favorite things to do first thing in the morning is to head out to the back porch with a steaming cup of coffee to watch the sun rise.

I had been living in Bangkok, Thailand for nearly three years, having moved there for business from a smaller town west of Bangkok. I had always been interested in real estate, so, when my company declared bankruptcy, I decided to look into thailand real estate. I figured that if I was able to get into Thailand real estate, like as a real estate agent or a home flipper, I could make more than enough money to pay my bills and live comfortably. I began looking into Thailand real estate and noticed that there was some Thailand property that was relatively cheap. This Thailand property was just the sort of thing that I needed to begin my new career.

So I started the process of converting some of that Thailand property into new and very lavish Thailand villas for purchase and rental. These Thailand villas would be a fantastic magnet for tourists and people from the city just looking to get away for the weekend. I set a nice budget for the development of these Thailand villas and before I knew it, they were fully built and ready for guests and for home buyers.

It did not take me long to make the money back that I had sunk into them and before I knew it, I was even profiting on the Thailand villas. I was lucky to find the Thailand property that I did and I now make more money than I ever did at the company I used to work for.

OK, so now it is the end of September, the chill is in the air, fall has arrived and we all know what is around the corner.  Christmas!  So why not start buying presents for Christmas now.  Starting early can save a lot of headaches in the end.  You can buy one a week now and not feel the financial pain as much as waiting until December.   Remember Christmas isn’t all about the store bought gifts, I don’t know about you but I love fresh baked goods, you know those yummy cookies, home made fudge and cakes.  You don’t have to buy a present you can always make one too!  Ask my older brother, my fudge is one of his favorite presents every year.

Last year I got transferred for work. It was a hard decision to make because it meant that I needed to leave my friends and family and where I had lived my entire life. But, I also knew that in this economic environment, it would be foolish to pass up a relocation that came with a promotion. This is the first year that I will be away from my family for the holidays, so I have been thinking about sending some Mississauga flowers to my family. I want them to know that I wish that I could be there with them. But I do not want to send just any flowers. I want to make sure that whatever I send will look nice and arrive to them fresh.

As any architect would justify, glass has the mesmerizing effect that can leave onlookers awed by the richness and beauty of the particular building. With the advent of different varieties of glasses, you can add the perfect shine to your homes, offices, or any commercial/residential structures. Tainted glass, painted ones, reinforced glass, and innumerable of other unbreakable yet fancy glass materials are easily available in the market. Therefore, along with the assistance of right architects, roll out your imaginations to get the best out of these. Apart from the grand looks, the usage of glass gives impressive brightness and transparency to the building, thus adding the attractive feathers to the cap.

It seems like the time is going by so much faster now that I have children to take care of. Here I am, thirty years old, mother of three, wife, and I never take the time for myself anymore. That’s why I was so thrilled when a couple friends of mine invited me to girls night. My husband was out of town on business so I arranged for a local babysitter to watch the kids. I was mentally ready for girls night two hours before it was time to go, and couldn’t wait to walk out that door for some fun. At the end of our girls night, I could not wait to go home to my kids though.

When I was visiting a few of my friends not too long ago, one of them told me that they had just had a meeting with a life insurance company, and there was a Credit Life Insurance Cover form that they thought I would have some interest in.  I asked if I could see it, and he told me that he may have thrown it away.  I thought that it was kind of funny because he had told me that he had it for me.  I told him that he didn’t have to worry about too much, and I would probably find out about it some other time.

I had lived in my little condo for seven years and it felt like the walls were closing in.  Although I am single I began complaining to friends that the place was just too small.  A good friend dropped by one day and suggested that a kitchen cabinets renovation and elimination of a lot of junk would do wonders for the place. She pointed out that this would basically renovate the whole condo.  I realized she was right so I did just that.  My new kitchen looks bigger, brighter, and more modern.  Once I lost about half of things I had accumulated, my living room seemed huge.  I even reclaimed my bedroom by exchanging a king-sized bed for a double.

After watching a show on TV, I found myself quite inspired. It was a show that showed you how to fix up your home, and more importantly your kitchen. My wife and I have been wanting to do some work on our home for quite some time now, but we just haven’t known how to complete the work. After watching the show, I felt pretty confident. To make sure that I was on the right track I checked out online kitchen design school. I’m going to start in the kitchen and then make my way to the living room. Hopefully everything goes well.
