If you are looking for a sitter and you are new to a neighborhood, I have a suggestion. Call sitter city. This is a great resource if you have children and you do not know anyone well enough to leave them with in your neighborhood. They have trustworthy, certified sitters who are professionals. They will arrive when you need them at your home, not whenever they feel the urge. I know I have had such bad experiences with sitters that I hired. I never want o have another individual off the streets watching my children again. This way I know that are safe.
