Chinese lanterns more popular than ever
Chinese Lanterns are becoming more and more popular in Vietnam ahead of Golden Week. They are much stronger and easier to import than Vietnamese lanterns. Small businesses are having difficulty because of the drop in demand. If people want us to send them our lanterns from the UK, this is possible. It is best though for individuals to buy locally sourced products to help out their own country. Lots of highstreet shops are also not putting them on the shelves even though the government has launched a campaign to encourage people to buy locally made products. In Britain, lots of products made in Vietnam are sold because they are so inexpensive in our currency.
