When I first considered guitar lessons for beginners, I had one major concern. As a teenager, I didn’t want to play what I considered “kids’ songs”. As a teenager, I knew that if my friends saw a music book with lambs and puppies on the cover in my bag, I’d never live it down. It would follow me all my life—or at least that was my thought at the time.  My fears, though, were unfounded. Although I’m taking guitar lessons for beginners, my instructor treats me like an adult and we play the music that I love to listen to every day.  That really makes my lessons fun, and when I tell my friends all about it, they are actually envious.
