Mormon Doctrine Puts Four Standard Works As Covenantal Laws
When it comes to scriptures that they are under covenant to follow, the Mormons have not only the Holy Bible as one of their volumes of scripture, but they also have three more separate volumes of scripture that they follow the doctrines in, known as the Four Standard Works. The mormon doctrine of having continual living revelation from God, through a living prophet on the Earth, is unique to Mormonism, and is a reassuring thing to the members of the Church. Mormons are put under covenant when going to the temple, to obey all of the laws as contained in these Four Standard Works.
