My dad called me on the phone and told me that he was going to be coming over in the next few days to drop some things off before they went on their trip.  I told him that it was a good idea, because I had something to give to him and my mom.  When he asked what it was, I told him that he would just have to wait and see.  My wife and I had bought them two brand new Scorpion Helmets that they could use on their cross country trip.  I know that they will be excited about it.
