The resolution on a typical HDTV is far greater than the resolution on a ipod. This is why it would be great if you can stream movies from your ipod onto your TV to enjoy them in the comfort of a couch and home setting. I think that overall, there is no better media carrier than the ipod because of its popularity and its high storage capacity. HDMI Cables can connect the ipod to the TV to even stream in HD because the ipod can just act as a portable hard drive and because there is no better way to watch movies!
